Hey Geraldine
Client: Peterborough City Council
Date: 2024-2025
Type of project: AI Product, Service and Knowledge

Hey Geraldine is Datnexa’s conversational AI assistant helping Peterborough City Council move people out of hospital and into the right support at home more quickly, safely and cost‑effectively. In its first year, a £25k investment delivered over £250k cost avoidance, with a three‑year £35k spend projected to generate around £750k in return.
By giving frontline staff instant, consistent answers to TEC and step‑down care queries, Hey Geraldine saves around 15 minutes per call and clears routine query backlogs. One practitioner said it “quickly gave me a list of options… it was quick and efficient and it relieved the pressure of having to email the TEC colleagues”, while a GP noted it helps put assistive technologies in place “with all the knowledge and care that Geraldine herself would use”.
Technology and Data Management: Challenges and Recommendations
Client: Care City and St Francis Hospice
Date: 2025
Type of project: AI Service and Knowledge

Datnexa worked with Care City and St Francis Hospice to rapidly assess whether the hospice’s technology, data and systems could support its refreshed organisational strategy under growing operational and cyber risk. Through stakeholder workshops, systems mapping and analysis of key platforms such as SelectHR, iCare, CharityCRM and iPlicit, Datnexa delivered a clear view of digital maturity and the most pressing risks and opportunities.
The engagement produced a practical, prioritised roadmap focused on stronger executive technology leadership, better data quality and usage, reduced cyber risk and more structured change. As Michael Roche, Programme Director at Care City, put it, Datnexa brought “exactly the blend of technical depth, strategic insight and practical delivery” and delivered recommendations that were “credible and actionable”, giving the hospice “a much clearer understanding of its current risks, priorities and next steps”.

Datnexa Training Courses
Client: Multiple
Date: 2025
Type of project: AI Knowledge

Datnexa’s training helps leaders turn AI interest into practical action through applied, problem-led learning grounded in real delivery experience. Across formats including a Mini MBAi, and Leadership and AI, courses, programmes cover strategy, governance, ethics, risk, implementation and culture change.
Using real examples such as Hey Geraldine and interactive workshop formats, Datnexa and our Human‑Centred AI, Leadership & OD Partner Alexandra Thornton, help organisations build confidence and identify clear next steps. Client feedback from previous courses has been extremely positive. Neil Sinclair from Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust said "Thank you for a great workshop that was really thought provoking and challenged some of my preconceived ideas around AI and leadership". While Clare Trendell from Affinity Flying Services said "Trainers were great. Knowledgeable and the course was pitched just right. It was an interesting topic, which with our learning outcomes, I hope it will help us all to work towards the common goal of implementing AI strategies into a complex environment".
