About
We’ve been described as "the most human AI company out there" because we build technology that elevates expertise rather than replacing it
Applied AI, data and digital transformation for public service organisations. Datnexa is a trusted innovation partner helping teams in local government, health and care, and public-purpose organisations turn AI ambition into safe, practical delivery that improves outcomes, effectiveness, and capacity.
Who we work with
Datnexa works with leaders and digital teams across local authorities, health and care systems, and wider public service organisations who need to do more with less while keeping people, safety and governance at the centre.
We understand the pressures of demand management, resilience, and rising citizen expectations, and we specialise in making AI and digital tools usable in complex public environments, not just in pilots.

What Datnexa stands for
Our mission is simple: Big ideas. Bold technology. Better tomorrow.
Datnexa helps those in public life turn AI ambition into practical delivery, combining strategy, design, and build to deliver measurable outcomes for people and communities. We focus on self-service and community empowerment via digital tools that add capacity while improving satisfaction.
Four things define how we work:
-
Problem-led, not hype-led. We start with real public service challenges like demand management, frailty, and system resilience, then design technology that fits existing governance and practice.
-
Tech for good, with shared value. We operate for profit but not profiteering, passing on economies of scale from reusable components rather than inflating product-style margins.
-
Reusable products and accelerators. We build AI applications, data products and components that can be reused across clients, reducing cost and time to value.
-
Knowledge transfer and client ownership. We embed knowledge within client teams so they retain the skills, tools and assets needed to govern and grow AI independently.
Products, services and knowledge
Every Datnexa engagement brings together three layers:
Reusable AI and data solutions.
Named applications and accelerators that address common public sector challenges, including AI assistants like Hey Geraldine, data products such as the National Frailty Index (NFIX), and digital twins for demand and capacity planning.
From concept to live environment.
End-to-end delivery spanning opportunity identification, service design, build, cloud migration, and quality assurance. We take ideas from concept to working prototype in weeks rather than months, then support full implementation into live environments.
Building long-term capability.
Training, advisory and playbooks designed to build AI readiness and digital confidence. Proven knowledge transfer through workshops, coaching, and reusable methods, so progress is sustainable beyond the initial project.
How we deliver
Datnexa’s strategic platform centres on applied, problem-led AI and digital transformation.
Our delivery pattern is clear and repeatable:
-
Discover opportunities. We work with service and digital leaders to identify high-impact use cases, building evidence-led business cases rooted in outcomes and social value.
-
Design solutions. We co-design services, operating models and governance, ensuring AI agents and data products fit into existing processes and accountability structures.
-
Deliver proof of value. Small, agile teams move from concept to working prototypes rapidly, with clear metrics on safety, efficiency, and impact.
-
Embed knowledge. We train teams, hand over playbooks, and coach internal leads so organisations can scale and govern AI confidently.
Underpinning this is a cloud-native operating platform on AWS with integrated information security, quality assurance and testing, giving public bodies confidence in safety and compliance.
