We are excited to announce the LGAI in-person Summer Summit Unconference on the 17th of July. This event is a unique opportunity for local government officials, innovation experts, AI suppliers, technologists, data scientists, and anyone passionate about innovative technology solutions in local authorities.
What is an Unconference?
An Unconference is a participant-driven event where the agenda is created by attendees at the start of the day. Here’s how it works:
- Attendees arrive, grab a coffee and a croissant, and gather in the main room.
- Anyone with an idea can pitch a session they'd like to lead or a question and answer session they’d like to chair.
- All ideas are presented, and attendees vote on what interests them the most.
- Sessions with the most votes get larger rooms, while smaller sessions are held in smaller rooms.
- The goal is to foster as much conversation and collaboration as possible.
Event Highlights
- Keynote Speaker: After the voting process, we will hear from our special surprise keynote speaker who will set the tone for the day.
- Wide Range of Topics: Discussions will cover topics such as ensuring correct ethics in database structures, using generative technology to speed up resident services, challenges content faces in the age of AI, getting the most value from increasingly stretched budgets, and ensuring quality assurance in AI projects.
- Industry Insights: With major players like AWS and Apple releasing new approaches, and a new government settling in, the discussions will be timely and relevant.
- Case Studies: We’ll hear about innovative projects like the EHCP plus product and CHC plus, as well as key moments in the delivery of technology-enabled care in Peterborough.
